How to Eat Much Right
on Your New Year Eve

New Year Meal! What a hostess could escape feeling sweet horror about forthcoming feast! All sacred mom’s and granny’s handwritten recipe books are exposed in search for proper menu.

Both events — Christmas and New Year Party are definitely attributed by abundant food. This presents a real problem for those who care about belly, figure and weight. One may think just like “I would taste each bit on the table and feel sick rather than forbear”. And they really feel sick for the next several days. Here are some pieces of advice for you on how to make hearty eating easily beard.

  • You should better avoid heavy eating in the morning of the festive day. Take only fruits and fresh vegetable salads and appetizers. At least you could eat a plate of porridge cooked with water for dinner, or just some nuts.

  • At the party try to avoid complex appetizers — such as various salads dressed with mayonnaise, combining various products. Choose better fresh vegetables seasoned with lemon juice or olive oil. The lighter and more monotonous the salad — the better your stomach would digest hot dishes.

  • If you can’t help eating “troublesome” salads, try then to eat them alternately with greens and lettuce, chew well and thoroughly, make dance breaks between each course. Remember a hint: “a lettuce leaf for each ham slice”.

  • Fresh vegetable meals should become a rule for New Year table. This case your belly would process abundant food of holyday meal faster.

  • If you are a hearty drinker, try to have your main doze during main course. From one hand, it would prevent you from fast being drunk, from the other — spirit absorbs fat, so it would do you favor.

  • If you can choose, take for dessert pudding, mousse or ice cream rather than a piece of cake or pastry. Wash it down with herb tea, such as mint tea — so you would help your belly again.
